What is Community Crossroads?The Community Crossroads website was conceived at the final gathering of the Foundation for Community Encouragement ("The Wake at Wake") held at Wake Forest University in July, 2002. The purpose of the Community Crossroads site is to provide a clearinghouse for information regarding the activities of community-building groups and individuals around the world -- announcements, information on upcoming events, "reports from the field" -- and also to provide a source of related information that may be of interest to those engaged in the Community Building effort. We at Community Crossroads, would like to encourage the Community Builders out there to share with us their ideas, their comments, their news and information so that we can make the site ever richer and more useful. The Community Crossroads StoreCommunity Crossroads is happy to offer Crossroads logo merchandise through the Community Crossroads store (in association with CafePress.com). Crossroads shirts, mugs, mousepads and totebags make lovely gifts, and can provide you with an opening for conversation about your community-building interests! As with Crossroads donations, any profits from the sales of Crossroads logo merchandise will go into the account for supporting the efforts of our fellow community-builders.
