I am a trainer in nonviolent communication;
I have been a CB facilitator for 5 years, and have started
an ongoing group that is still active after five years.
With the MEC, I facilitate workshops all over the province
of Quebec, and do a lot of English/French translation.
I also get out the community building message by doing
musical shows called Heart to Heart Moments, all over
the province, where we introduce the process briefly to
the participants, and invite them to experience this for
themselves. We give them references and contact info after
the show. This group of musicians (three others besides
me) are community building participants from workshops
that I facilitated and then became regular members of
the same ongoing group as I. We all had a passion for
community building and music and got together to create
more joy and passion about community building. We participate
in community building sessions before and after our shows,
and this process is a very important part of it for us.
